An Italian Renaissance ‘Mega-Mansion’ will be the first one to accept cryptocurrency bids at auction. There are several real estate companies that work with virtual currencies, but this incredible palace is special.
Mansion to be Sold for Cryptos
The $44 million dollars’ mansion is located in one of the most top neighbourhoods in Rome and will make crypto history.
The ‘palazzetto’ will be accepting cryptocurrency bids online, and it has 18,000 square feet and it has 11 bedrooms. And it this was not enough, it is full of frescoes and sculptures, making the experience of being here much more cultural. At the same time, it has a 2,000 square feet garden in the back.
Alexander Ali, Society Group, said about the secret garden inside the palace:
“It really is unheard of to have this green space in the heart of Rome.”
Additionally, it has a terrace with a 360º view of the ancient city of Rome. The home has been designed by an Italian architect that worked with Michelangelo.
“What’s incredible about the palazzetto is that is not only a beautiful property but it is also a work of art,” commented Mr. Ali.
Real Estate for Bitcoin
This is not the first time that there are apartments and homes that are sold for cryptocurrencies. Around the world there are many companies that accept virtual currencies for real estate pieces.
There is a website known as Bitcoin Real Estate that allows users to buy homes for cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC) or Ethereum (ETH).
Other countries like Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and the United States. Other pages like BitcoinForProperties is selling and listing homes and apartments for cryptocurrencies.
In the future we could see more properties being sold for virtual currencies as regulations expand and allow investors to feel confident using cryptocurrencies.
