CareX, an important blockchain platform for the health care industry, will soon be adding dental services to the list of discounted healthcare options on offer.

Dental clinics are offering different services, including teeth cleaning, examinations and oral surgery. Now, these clinics will be joining the Texas-based company’s marketplace created specially for healthcare services.

Patients will be able to purchase discounted services using cryptographically secured tokens. These tokens will allow users to cover a wide range of health care services including basic and more complex treatments.

Jackson Adams, CareX COO, said:

“Our goal is to help people find affordable healthcare by enabling greater choice and transparency. Many are willing to travel in order to save a lot on their medical bills. For healthcare providers, this is an opportunity to expand their business.”

At the moment, CareX was able to sign partnerships with several types of innovative medical treatments not typically covered by insurance, including national stem cell provider Biogenix. Additionally, by posting prices for services in CARE, providers are able to attract patients from all the United States and even the world.

Dr. Brian Flowers, a CareX Medical Board Advisor, explained:

“The more patients coming into a practice, the cheaper the per patient costs. That’s a virtuous cycle which could really benefit everyone. Many providers rely on big networks to bring the business to them, but this limits their income and puts a strain on their costs.”

About CareX

CareX is building a new way for people to find and pay for health care services. The main difference with other services is that users use tokens based on a blockchain platform specifically built for providers and clients. Patients are able to control their health records, and purchase healthcare services at reduced costs – regardless of borders.

Those who own CARE tokens are able to use the are X wallet to securely host their medical records, granting short-term access to providers as needed and decided.
